Certified Shari'ah Ratings Analyst: study modules
Three short modules on Shari'ah compliance and fiduciary ratings of institutions and sukuk
Introductory · 3 hours · 9 lessons · Language: English and Arabic · ID: IFS-COU-0034
A Shari'ah compliance and fiduciary rating tells investors, customers and regulators, on a comparable scale, how well an Islamic financial institution or instrument follows Shari'ah and how well it acts as a trustee. These three short modules explain, in plain language, what a rating is and who may give one, how an institution is rated across six areas with weights, a scale and a rating committee, and how sukuk and other instruments are classified and rated.
Each module has a reading with a worked example, slides, study notes and a short practice quiz. The modules prepare you for the Certified Shari'ah Ratings Analyst exam.
This is independent ifSPACE material written in its own words; it is not affiliated with AAOIFI and is not a fatwa.
