Certified Shari'ah Governance Professional: study modules

The governance framework, the Shari'ah supervisory board, and how decisions and reports are made

Introductory · 3 hours · 9 lessons · Language: English and Arabic · ID: IFS-COU-0032

Three short, free modules that prepare you for the Certified Shari'ah Governance Professional exam. They explain in plain language how an Islamic financial institution organises Shari'ah oversight: the framework and its four organs, the Shari'ah supervisory board and its independence, and how the board decides, reports and fits into wider structures such as central Shari'ah boards and Islamic subsidiaries.

Each module has a reading with a worked example, slides, study notes and an eight-question practice quiz. When you have finished, sit the certification exam from the certification page.

These study modules are independent educational material written by ifSPACE in its own words, not affiliated with AAOIFI and not a fatwa.
