Certified Shari'ah Board Secretariat Professional: study modules

Running SSB meetings, keeping minutes and rulings, and handling queries, fatwas and the SSB report

Introductory · 3 hours · 9 lessons · Language: English and Arabic · ID: IFS-COU-0030

Three short, free modules that prepare you for the Certified Shari'ah Board Secretariat Professional exam. They explain in plain language the day-to-day work behind a Shari'ah supervisory board: where the secretariat fits and how meetings are planned, how minutes, rulings and checklists are recorded and kept, and how queries, fatwa documents and the annual SSB report are prepared.

Each module has a reading with a worked example, slides, study notes and an eight-question practice quiz. When you have finished, sit the certification exam from the certification page.

These study modules are independent educational material written by ifSPACE in its own words, not affiliated with AAOIFI and not a fatwa.
