Certified Islamic Crowdfunding Governance Professional: study modules

Three short modules on governing Islamic crowdfunding platforms and issuances

Introductory · 3 hours · 9 lessons · Language: English and Arabic · ID: IFS-COU-0018

Islamic crowdfunding lets many people fund businesses and social projects online through Shari'ah-compliant contracts, so it needs clear rules to protect them. These three short modules explain, in plain language, what Islamic crowdfunding is and how AAOIFI's Governance Standard No. 14 applies to it, how the operator, the trustee and the checks on issuers and fund providers keep the money safe, and how the Shari'ah board, committees, audit and disclosures keep each issuance compliant.

Each module has a reading with a worked example, slides, study notes and a short practice quiz. The modules prepare you for the Certified Islamic Crowdfunding Governance Professional exam.

This is independent ifSPACE material written in its own words; it is not affiliated with AAOIFI and is not a fatwa.
