Certified Islamic Crowdfunding Governance Professional
An advanced ifSPACE certification in the governance of Islamic crowdfunding platforms and issuances under AAOIFI's GS 14.
1 course
This certification is for people who run, oversee or advise Islamic crowdfunding: platform operators' founders, boards, compliance and risk staff, Shari'ah board members and Shari'ah advisory firms, trustees, issuers raising funds online, auditors, and staff of financial regulators and FinTech sandboxes.
It covers AAOIFI Governance Standard 14 on Islamic crowdfunding governance: commercial and social crowdfunding, proportionality, the core principles, the operator as an Islamic financial institution and its Shari'ah compliance function, the trustee and the release of funds, issuer and fund-provider criteria, the issuance's Shari'ah supervisory board and fatwa, the audit and governance committee, platform capability, lifecycle duties, external Shari'ah audit, termination and restructuring, and disclosure to users. To earn it, you study the linked courses and then sit a certification exam of 40 questions in 75 minutes, drawn from a larger bank. The pass mark is 70%, you have one attempt per enrollment, and the certificate is valid for three years.
This is an independent ifSPACE certification. It is free, it is not an AAOIFI qualification, and it is not accredited or endorsed by AAOIFI or any regulator.
