Certifications are issued independently by Islamic Finance Space (ifSPACE). They are not accredited by AAOIFI or by any regulator unless a program page states otherwise.
Free certification. The certification exam and certificate rules open with the exam system.

It is for leasing, home and vehicle finance, asset finance and sukuk teams, and Shari'ah reviewers who work with ijarah products. It covers ijarah and ijarah muntahia bittamleek under AAOIFI Shari'ah Standard No. 9: the asset and its use, fixed and variable rent, the allocation of maintenance, takaful and loss, sub-leasing, transfer of ownership, sale and leaseback, forward leases and ijarah sukuk. It also covers agency (SS 23) as used in leasing, and the hire of persons and service-based financing (SS 34).

How it works: study the linked course Ijarah, Agency and Service Contracts, then sit a 40-question certification exam in 75 minutes. The pass mark is 70%, and the certificate is valid for three years.

This is an independent ifSPACE certification. It is free, it is not an AAOIFI qualification, and it is not accredited or endorsed by AAOIFI or any regulator.
