Calculate, check and distribute zakah through interactive challenges. This free gamified course turns the basics of AAOIFI standards into five interactive missions. In each one you flip learning cards, make decisions in short scenarios, race through true-or-false rounds, match terms, put steps in order, sort what is allowed from what is not, and finish with a final challenge where you have three lives. You earn XP, keep streaks, collect stars and unlock a badge for every mission.

What you will learn

  • Identify which kinds of wealth are zakatable, how each is valued, and where the schools of fiqh differ.
  • Calculate an individual's zakah step by step, using the nisab and the lunar or solar-year rate.
  • Name the eight categories of zakah recipients and apply the main rules for paying zakah to them.
  • Calculate a company's zakah base under SS 35 and explain who pays and how FAS 9 treats zakah in the accounts.
