Learn murabahah step by step by helping a bank finance a client. This free gamified course turns the basics of AAOIFI standards into five interactive missions. In each one you flip learning cards, make decisions in short scenarios, race through true-or-false rounds, match terms, put steps in order, sort what is allowed from what is not, and finish with a final challenge where you have three lives. You earn XP, keep streaks, collect stars and unlock a badge for every mission.

What you will learn

  • Explain why a murabahah is a real sale at a disclosed cost plus profit, and why the bank must own the goods before selling them.
  • Distinguish the customer's promise to buy from a sale, and apply the rules on the security deposit when a promise is broken.
  • Describe how the bank buys the goods in its own name, uses the customer as agent, and takes possession while bearing the risk.
  • Calculate a murabahah cost and selling price, and identify the security the bank may take for the debt.
  • Handle late payment and early settlement without increasing the debt, and recognise the red flags of a disguised loan.
