ifSPACE Associate in Islamic Finance: study modules

Foundations, the three prohibitions and the main contracts, in three short modules

Introductory · 3 hours · 9 lessons · Language: English and Arabic · ID: IFS-COU-0041

These three short modules prepare you for the ifSPACE Associate in Islamic Finance certification exam. They explain where the rules of Islamic finance come from and what makes a contract valid, how to recognise riba, gharar and maysir, and how sale, lease, partnership and agency contracts are used by Islamic banks, sukuk and takaful under Shari'ah governance.

Each module has a friendly reading with a worked example, slides, study notes and a short practice quiz. No previous knowledge is needed.

This is independent ifSPACE study material written in its own words. It is not affiliated with AAOIFI and it is not a fatwa.
