Certified Islamic Investment Management Specialist: study modules

Three short modules on managing investors' money under Islamic contracts

Introductory · 3 hours · 9 lessons · Language: English and Arabic · ID: IFS-COU-0022

An Islamic investment manager looks after other people's money as a trustee. These three short modules explain, in plain language, how mudarabah and investment agency work and how the manager is paid, how profit in an investment pool is calculated and shared, and when a manager is liable for losses and how investors can be protected without a guarantee of capital.

Each module has a reading with a worked example, slides, study notes and a short practice quiz. The modules prepare you for the Certified Islamic Investment Management Specialist exam.

This is independent ifSPACE material written in its own words; it is not affiliated with AAOIFI and is not a fatwa.
