Certified Islamic Corporate Banking Specialist: study modules
Three short modules on financing companies: sales, partnerships, security and problem debts
Introductory · 3 hours · 9 lessons · Language: English and Arabic · ID: IFS-COU-0017
Companies need stock, raw materials, cash, new assets and partners for their projects. These three short modules explain, in plain language, how an Islamic bank finances a company through murabahah, tawarruq, salam and istisna'a; how it joins a company in musharakah, diminishing musharakah and mudarabah; and how it takes guarantees and pledges and deals with late payment, rescheduling, receivables and insolvency without charging for time.
Each module has a reading with a worked example, slides, study notes and a short practice quiz. The modules prepare you for the Certified Islamic Corporate Banking Specialist exam.
This is independent ifSPACE material written in its own words; it is not affiliated with AAOIFI and is not a fatwa.
