Certified Islamic Capital Markets Specialist: study modules

Three short modules on shares, screening, indices, commercial papers and sukuk

Introductory · 3 hours · 9 lessons · Language: English and Arabic · ID: IFS-COU-0015

Islamic capital markets let investors own real businesses and assets without interest. These three short modules explain, in plain language, which shares are acceptable and how companies are screened and returns purified, which trading practices are allowed and how indices may be used, and how commercial papers and sukuk work, including when sukuk may trade at market price.

Each module has a reading with a worked example, slides, study notes and a short practice quiz. The modules prepare you for the Certified Islamic Capital Markets Specialist exam.

This is independent ifSPACE material written in its own words; it is not affiliated with AAOIFI and is not a fatwa.
