CPAAGE exam preparation

The Certificate of Proficiency in Audit, Assurance, Governance and Ethics (CPAAGE) is a certificate from AAOIFI based on the governance standards, auditing standards and Code of Ethics that AAOIFI issues. AAOIFI's 2025-26 syllabus groups the examinable material into three parts: Shari'ah governance (Part A, 60%), covering the governance standards from the Shari'ah governance framework and the Shari'ah supervisory board to compliance, internal Shari'ah audit, ratings, sukuk, waqf, crowdfunding, syndicated financing and ethics implementation; the Auditing Standards for Islamic Financial Institutions (Part B, 20%); and the AAOIFI Code of Ethics (Part C, 20%).

This program brings together four ifSPACE courses that cover those standards: the Shari'ah governance framework and the Shari'ah supervisory board; Shari'ah compliance, internal Shari'ah audit and ratings; governance of sukuk, waqf, crowdfunding and syndicated financing; and auditing standards and professional ethics for Islamic finance. Each course has readings, slides, study notes, practice quizzes and a final exam. The program adds two full mock exams of 50 questions each, written by ifSPACE, to help you check your readiness.
